Yesterday we had a visit from NSW Ambulance Service paramedics Sharne and Aleisha who are Edie, Makayli and Emerson’s mums’ They talked to the children about what to do in an emergency or when someone is badly injured or very sick. The children know to phone 000 if they need help. Sharne and Aleisha  showed us some of their paramedic equipment and the friends tried out bandages slings, the stethoscope, a blood pressure machine, thermometer and lots more. Some friends dressed up as paramedics and others experienced being the patient. We looked inside the ambulance which was very exciting. As the ambulance drove away we all covered our ears so the siren wasn’t too loud. Everyone received a special certificate for participating in this fun experience. Thank you Sharne and Aleisha.
