Making Stormy Pizzas

As the children have been talking about the events of the recent storm to further their interest in this area the children were invited to make ‘Stormy Pizzas’ with Miss Jess.

They used half a muffin to represent a cloud and on top of this they spread tomato paste to represent the flood water.

Spinach leaves were used for the leaves which blew everywhere, pineapple for the trees which blew over, ham for the soil and mud and to finish their pizzas they sprinkled cheese to represent the rain.

The children ate them after they had their lunch, they were yummy!
