Term 3 Mask Making Experiences.

A project commenced this term initially from a small group of children attempting to make themselves a mask out of paper, sticky tape and ribbon. These children had asked the educator to assist them by cutting out the holes and helping to attach the string. Following this observation, a large table was set up with a variety of craft materials and paint, including glitter, sequins, ribbons and paper plates. A beautiful Venetian mask was brought in for inspiration. The children created wonderful designs and every mask was unique.
